Saturday February 8 :: Rebuilding Postpartum Core Stability
After childbirth, your body changes significantly and rebuilding your core strength and stability postpartum is crucial for full recovery and long-term health. In this workshop, Dr. Karah Charette, PT and pelvic floor specialist, will introduce you to the powerful principles of Dynamic Neuromuscular Stability (DNS), exploring the core not just as a set of muscles, but as a pressure-regulated canister essential to spinal health, pelvic support, and functional stability. By learning how to activate and coordinate your core properly, we can reduce strain on the spine, encourage decompression of the pelvic floor, and improve overall function—helping you gain more strength, ease, and comfort in your everyday movements and activities. This workshop is ideal for postpartum individuals looking to restore pelvic floor function, reduce back pain, and rebuild core strength with a safe, sustainable approach. Whether you're a few weeks or many months or years postpartum, this workshop will provide the foundation for healing and reclaiming your body’s strength and stability. It is never too late to begin. Once postpartum, always postpartum!
