Saturday November 14 :: The Wise Woman Initiation
Perimenopause and menopause is a sacred transition, a time of transformation, spiritual activation, and initiation into a deeper kind of power. Join Ivy Lee and Marilu Shinn for an intimate half-day retreat drawing on the wisdom of Chinese Medicine and Earth-Based Medicine Woman traditions. Together we’ll explore the physical, emotional, and spiritual dimensions of this powerful passage, with practical ways to support your health through foods, herbs, lifestyle practices, and embodiment. This gathering is for women in their late 30s, 40s, and 50s, whether you are beginning to notice changes, moving through the transition, or wanting to understand what lies ahead. In Wise Woman traditions, menopause is understood as an initiation into a new chapter of womanhood, one of greater wisdom, mastery, and self-knowledge. As the body changes, we are invited to become more discerning about where we place our life force, what is truly essential, what we are ready to release, and what we are being called toward. Rather than something to dread or pacify, this transition can be a powerful invitation to become more fully ourselves and mee this sacred threshold with awareness, vitality, and a deeper trust in our own wisdom.
